Queer Youth Group (QYG), is a youth-led network working for Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC) rights in Nepal. It began as a loose network in 2018 and was established as a not for profit in 2020. QYG focuses mainly on resource development in the national languages of Nepal. QYG identifies the need for resources and content to advance education and awareness on SOGIESC issues. QYG has conducted many projects that have introduced SOGIESC terminologies in the Nepali language and Nepal Bhasa and published several booklets. It aims to expand its work in at least ten major languages of Nepal. QYG wants to expand its work to create diverse content, through the lens of accessibility as well as the use of different languages, to foster awareness about SOGIESC issues in Nepal.ss with a mission to describe.
